The West Monroe Fire Department's next pancake breakfast will be Sunday, September 21, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Prices for the breakfasts are $6.00 for adults; $5.50 for senior citizens; $4.50 for children 5 - 12; and a special family rate of $20.00 for the immediate family.

to a fire at the Pinnacle Road tire yard. Twenty-six fire companies responded to the incident,
either directly to the scene or to cover for units reponding directly to the scene.

The West Monroe Fire Department is located at 54 County Route 11 in the town of West Monroe, New York, in Oswego County. It serves the West Monroe Fire Protection District, which covers most of the land area of town, and Oneida Lake south to the south shore. (The Town of West Monroe contracts with the Brewerton Fire Department to protect the Big Bay land area portion of town.)
